(Deva-stuti-varṇana) — “Description of the Gods’ Hymn/Praise”

Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Rudra
It depicts how worldly power and conflict intensify through noise, agitation, and reaction—reminding the seeker, in a Shaiva Siddhanta spirit, to turn from turbulent impulses toward Shiva (Pati), the still center beyond fear and hostility.
The battle scene highlights the limitations of even divine forces when caught in disturbance; Saguna Shiva as the Linga is approached as the stabilizing refuge—where the devotee seeks protection, clarity, and inner order beyond the clash of opposing powers.
A practical takeaway is to pacify inner “battle-noise” through japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and steadying disciplines like Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) remembrance and Rudrāksha-supported meditation for calmness and restraint.
