Shiva Purana — Rudra Samhita, Shloka 60

बाणासुरस्य शङ्करस्तुतिः तथा युद्धयाचनम् | Bāṇāsura’s Praise of Śiva and Petition for Battle

तं दृष्ट्वा सर्वमाचख्युर्बाणाय बलिसूनवे । पुरुषास्ते महावीराः कन्यान्तःपुररक्षकाः

taṃ dṛṣṭvā sarvamācakhyurbāṇāya balisūnave | puruṣāste mahāvīrāḥ kanyāntaḥpurarakṣakāḥ

Als sie ihn sahen, meldeten jene großen Helden—als Wächter der inneren Gemächer der Mädchen eingesetzt—alles Bāṇa, dem Sohn Balis.
