Tripuramohana — “The Delusion/Enchanting of Tripura”
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
It emphasizes Śiva as Pati (the Supreme Lord) whose will governs all powers—when He wills, even mighty asuras lose their strength, teaching the devotee to rely on Śiva rather than ego or force.
The verse points to Saguna Śiva as the active Lord who intervenes in the world through His icchā-śakti; Linga worship cultivates surrender to that sovereign will, recognizing Śiva as the inner ruler of all outcomes.
A practical takeaway is icchā-śakti-smarana: mentally surrender outcomes to Śiva while repeating the Panchākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), optionally with Tripuṇḍra bhasma and Rudrākṣa to stabilize devotion and humility.
