निगीर्णैते सैन्यं विधसदितिजेनाद्य भगवन्निगीर्णोऽसौ विष्णुस्त्रिभुवनगुरुर्दैत्यदलनः । निगीर्णौ चन्द्रार्कौद्रुहिणमघवानौ च वरदौ निगीर्णास्ते सर्वे यमवरुणवाताश्च धनदः
nigīrṇaite sainyaṃ vidhasaditijenādya bhagavannigīrṇo'sau viṣṇustribhuvanagururdaityadalanaḥ | nigīrṇau candrārkaudruhiṇamaghavānau ca varadau nigīrṇāste sarve yamavaruṇavātāśca dhanadaḥ
«O Herr! Heute hat ein Asura, der die Ordnung der Devas zerstört, dein Heer verschlungen. Selbst Viṣṇu—Lehrer der drei Welten und Zermalmer der Daityas—ist verschlungen worden. When even Vishnu, Brahma, and the guardians of directions are shown as vulnerable, the narrative encourages devotion to Saguna Shiva—worshipped as the Linga—who alone stabilizes dharma and restores order in the cosmos.
Take refuge in japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and Rudrākṣa as reminders of Shiva’s protecting presence when the mind feels 'swallowed' by fear, tamas, or inner enemies.
