„Da Nārada die Dīkṣā empfangen hat, haben auch wir die Einweihung erlangt.“ Als er dies erkannt hatte, ging er aus eigenem Antrieb fort.

The verse highlights dīkṣā (initiation) as a grace-bearing turning point: when a realized devotee like Nārada receives or embodies initiation, others connected to him are inspired and uplifted toward the same Shaiva path, emphasizing transmission through guru and sacred lineage.
In the Shiva Purana, dīkṣā commonly authorizes and deepens disciplined worship—often centered on Saguna Shiva through Linga-upāsanā—so the verse supports the idea that proper initiation establishes one in regulated devotion, mantra, and ritual purity leading toward Shiva’s grace.
The practical takeaway is to seek authentic Shaiva dīkṣā and then maintain steady practice—daily japa (especially Panchakshara, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), Linga worship, and purity disciplines—so devotion becomes grounded in guidance rather than mere impulse.
