tuṣṭuvuśca mahābhaktyā devīstāssakalāssurāḥ | nānāvidhābhirvāgbhiste brahmādyā natamastakāḥ
Da priesen alle Götter—angeführt von Brahmā—mit geneigtem Haupt in Ehrfurcht jene Göttinnen in großer Hingabe, mit vielerlei erhabenen Worten.
Sūta Gosvāmin (narrating to the sages at Naimiṣāraṇya)
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Umāpati
Type: stotra
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: nurturing
Offering: pushpa
It highlights bhakti and humility as divine virtues: even Brahmā and the devas bow and offer stuti, showing that reverent surrender is central to grace in the Shaiva worldview.
The verse models saguna-upāsanā through praise (stuti) and namaskāra; in Shaiva practice, the same devotional attitude is directed to Śiva as Liṅga and to Śakti as inseparable from Śiva.
Daily stotra-pāṭha with bowed-head namaskāra—optionally alongside japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya)—as a simple bhakti discipline.
