मयस्य शिवस्तुतिः — Maya’s Hymn to Śiva
and Śiva’s Gracious Response
सुरर्षिहितकृच्छंभुस्सुरर्षिहितकृत्प्रियः । सुरर्षिहितकृन्नॄणां कदापि कुगतिर्नहि
surarṣihitakṛcchaṃbhussurarṣihitakṛtpriyaḥ | surarṣihitakṛnnṝṇāṃ kadāpi kugatirnahi
Śambhu, der stets zum Wohle der Götter und der Ṛṣis handelt, ist allen lieb, die für ihr Wohl wirken. Für jene, die sich solcher heilsamen Dienstarbeit hingeben, gibt es niemals—zu keiner Zeit—ein böses Geschick oder einen Sturz.
