O Herr der Götter, selbst dieser Streit zwischen uns hat seinen passenden Sinn. Da du hierher gekommen bist, bist du gekommen, um unseren Zwist zu besänftigen und zu lösen.
Brahma (inferred, addressing Lord Vishnu during the creation-era dispute, narrated within Suta’s discourse)
Tattva Level: pashu
Cosmic Event: Brahmā–Viṣṇu dispute framed as providential (daiva-yojana) within early creation narrative
The verse frames conflict as something that can be transformed into dharmic clarity when approached with humility—recognizing a higher principle that restores harmony, a key Shaiva theme where Pati (the Supreme Lord) is the ultimate reconciler.
In the Sṛṣṭikhaṇḍa narrative, disputes of cosmic authorities are typically resolved by the manifestation of the Supreme—often through a perceivable (saguṇa) sign such as the Linga-like pillar of light, reminding devotees that the highest reality surpasses ego and rivalry.
A practical takeaway is to adopt śānti-bhāva (peaceful intention) before worship—begin japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) to cool agitation and offer inner conflict into Shiva for resolution.
