शिवागमन-नाद-समागमः (Śiva’s Advent, the Drum-Sound, and the Cosmic Assembly)
Sūta Gosvāmin (narrating to the sages at Naimiṣāraṇya)
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Significance: Paradigmatic fruit of śiva-darśana: purification of mala and strengthening of bhakti leading toward anugraha (grace).
Role: liberating
Cosmic Event: Shift from cosmic description to devotional telos: the narrative culminates in yearning for Śiva’s darśana—anugraha as the inner purpose of sṛṣṭi.
It highlights that true greatness is measured by pure-hearted devotion: the gaṇa-leaders, radiant and undefiled, move with joy toward Śiva’s darśana, showing that closeness to Pati (Śiva) arises from inner purity and loving longing.
Their eagerness for Śiva-darśana mirrors the devotee’s approach to Saguna Śiva—especially through Liṅga worship—where seeing, serving, and contemplating the manifest Lord becomes a direct channel for grace and liberation.
Cultivate śiva-darśana-bhāva: approach worship with joyful longing—chant the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), maintain purity (external and internal), and meditate on Śiva’s form or the Liṅga as a focused practice.
