वसन्तस्वरूपवर्णनम् — Description of the Form/Nature of Vasant

संसारविमुखे शंभौ तथैकांतविरागिणि । अस्मादृते न कर्मान्यत् करिष्यति न संशयः

saṃsāravimukhe śaṃbhau tathaikāṃtavirāgiṇi | asmādṛte na karmānyat kariṣyati na saṃśayaḥ

In Śambhu (Śiva), der der Saṃsāra abgewandt ist, und in dem, der in ausschließlicher Entsagung standhaft bleibt—außer mir wird er keine andere Handlung vollbringen; daran besteht kein Zweifel.

The verse teaches that true Śaiva orientation is saṃsāra-vimukhatā (turning away from worldly bondage) and ekānta-vairāgya (one-pointed dispassion). From a Shaiva Siddhānta lens, such steadiness loosens pāśa (bondage) and directs the soul toward Pati (Śiva), making all other karma-driven pursuits secondary or abandoned.
