It highlights Śiva’s anugraha (grace) as the decisive spiritual power: even when outer observers fail to perceive the truth, the soul’s transition and higher purpose are fulfilled through Śambhu’s compassionate governance, not mere ritual visibility.
The verse emphasizes Saguna Śiva as the personal Lord who actively bestows grace in lived events; Linga-worship similarly trains the devotee to rely on Śiva’s presence beyond outward ritual status, recognizing the Lord as the inner witness and savior.
Cultivate śaraṇāgati (surrender) through japa of the Pañcākṣarī—“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—and internalize humility in worship (bhasma/Tripuṇḍra remembrance of impermanence), trusting Śiva’s grace beyond external recognition.
