Devas’ Hymn: Śiva as Parabrahman, Māyā-Śakti, and Giver of Karmic Fruits
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Īśāna
Type: stotra
Shakti Form: Satī
Role: teaching
It affirms the Shaiva Siddhanta view of Śiva as Pati—the supreme Lord who governs and dispenses the fruits of karma—so liberation is ultimately attained through His grace, not mere action.
By declaring Śiva as Veda-proclaimed and the giver of all results, it supports Saguna worship (such as Liṅga-pūjā) as a direct way to approach the Lord who controls karma-phala and bestows auspiciousness and release.
Practice Śiva-bhakti with mantra-japa (especially the Pañcākṣarī, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and offer worship with a surrendering intent—seeking Śiva’s grace rather than bargaining for outcomes.
