सतीदेव्याः योगमार्गेण देहत्यागः — Satī’s Yogic Abandonment of the Body

केचिद्विष्णुं प्रभुं तत्र प्रार्थयन्तस्समन्ततः । उद्विग्ना मन्त्रयंतश्च विप्राभावं मुहुर्मुहुः

kecidviṣṇuṃ prabhuṃ tatra prārthayantassamantataḥ | udvignā mantrayaṃtaśca viprābhāvaṃ muhurmuhuḥ

Dort begannen einige von allen Seiten den Herrn Viṣṇu, den souveränen Beschützer, anzuflehen. In Unruhe und Bestürzung berieten sie immer wieder miteinander über das Ausbleiben der Brahmanen.
