(Kāmaśāpānugraha) — “The Curse and Grace Concerning Kāma”
Sati (addressing Lord Shiva)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Type: stotra
Shakti Form: Satī
Role: teaching
It affirms Shiva as Pati—the supreme Lord—who is beyond guṇas and Prakṛti, untouched by change, yet freely reveals grace through līlā; realizing this leads the bound soul (paśu) toward moksha.
Though Shiva is nirguṇa and beyond Prakṛti, He compassionately becomes knowable through saguna forms—especially the Śiva-liṅga—so devotees can focus mind and devotion on the transcendent Reality.
Meditate on Shiva as turya—unchanging awareness—while japa of the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” steadies the mind; worship can be supported with vibhūti (tripuṇḍra) and rudrākṣa as Shaiva aids to remembrance.
