दक्षयज्ञे सत्या अपमानबोधः — Satī Encounters Disrespect at Dakṣa’s Sacrifice

तस्मान्नाह्वारितो रुद्रो यज्ञार्थं सुकुवेषभृत् । देवर्षिसंसदि मया ज्ञात्वा पुत्रि विपश्चिता

tasmānnāhvārito rudro yajñārthaṃ sukuveṣabhṛt | devarṣisaṃsadi mayā jñātvā putri vipaścitā

Darum wurde Rudra nicht zum Opfer eingeladen, obwohl Er für das Ritual eine passende und glückverheißende Gestalt angenommen hatte. O weise Tochter, in der Versammlung der Götter und Rishis erkannte ich dies klar.
