Dort erblickte sie das Haus ihres Vaters – erfüllt von vielen Wundern – strahlend vor Glanz und Schönheit und besucht von Scharen von Göttern und göttlichen Sehern.

Tattva Level: pashu
Sthala Purana: The ‘marvel-filled’ paternal mansion symbolizes the allure of worldly/ritual prosperity (aiśvarya) that can conceal the need to honor Śiva; the scene sets up the contrast between outer splendor and inner adharmic intent.
Significance: Instructional: do not mistake ‘suprabhā’ (radiance) of wealth/ritual for spiritual merit; merit arises from right relation to Pati.
Shakti Form: Satī
Role: teaching
It contrasts outer magnificence—palaces, marvels, and celestial assemblies—with the inner measure of dharma: true auspiciousness rests in devotion to Shiva (Pati) rather than in social prestige or ritual display.
By showing a setting rich in ceremonial grandeur, the narrative prepares the Shaiva teaching that Saguna Shiva (worshipped as the Linga and as the Lord with attributes) is not honored by mere spectacle; sincere bhakti and reverence for Shiva are the real sanctifiers of any gathering.
Maintain inward recollection of Shiva amid worldly environments—silently repeat the Panchakshara mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” and cultivate humility, so external splendor does not distract from Shiva-bhakti.
