सतीकृतप्रार्थना तथा परतत्त्वजिज्ञासा — Satī’s Prayer and Inquiry into the Supreme Principle

कृत्वा देहादिकं तस्य प्रीत्यै सर्वं तदर्पणम् । निर्वाहाय च शून्यत्वं यत्तदात्मसमर्पणम्

Transliteration

kṛtvā dehādikaṃ tasya prītyai sarvaṃ tadarpaṇam | nirvāhāya ca śūnyatvaṃ yattadātmasamarpaṇam

Translation

Sogar den eigenen Leib und alles andere zu einer Gabe für Sein Wohlgefallen zu machen—alles Ihm darzubringen—und, um dieses Leben zu tragen, gleichsam „leer“ zu bleiben, frei von Besitzanspruch: das ist wahrhaft die Hingabe des eigenen Selbst an Ihn.
