FAQs

It highlights dharmic humility: honoring devas and sages and taking leave respectfully is presented as a sign of sattvic conduct that supports devotion to Shiva (Pati) and keeps one aligned with grace-bearing company.

Linga/Saguna worship is not only ritual action but also right conduct—reverence to divine beings and realized sages. Such honoring is treated as an extension of worship offered to Shiva, the indwelling Lord of all.

Conclude pūjā or japa with respectful closure—offer salutations to gurus/sages, maintain courteous speech, and dedicate the merit to Shiva; this is a practical takeaway even when no specific bhasma or rudrākṣa practice is named in the verse.
