विष्णोः स्तुतिः—शिवसतीरक्षावचनम्

Viṣṇu’s Hymn and the Petition for Śiva–Satī’s Protection

पूरयिष्यामि विज्ञप्तिं पूर्वान्तेंगीकृतां मया । महापापकरं दुष्टं हन्म्येनं चतुराननम्

pūrayiṣyāmi vijñaptiṃ pūrvānteṃgīkṛtāṃ mayā | mahāpāpakaraṃ duṣṭaṃ hanmyenaṃ caturānanam

„Ich werde das Gelöbnis erfüllen, das ich zuvor angenommen habe. Dieser Viergesichtige ist ein Bösewicht und Ursache großer Sünde; darum werde ich ihn erschlagen.“
