ब्रह्मोवाच । इति पृष्टस्स्वपुत्रेण दक्षेण मुनिसत्तम । विहसन्नब्रुवं वाक्यं मोदयंस्तं प्रजापतिम्
brahmovāca | iti pṛṣṭassvaputreṇa dakṣeṇa munisattama | vihasannabruvaṃ vākyaṃ modayaṃstaṃ prajāpatim
Brahmā sprach: O Bester der Weisen, als mein eigener Sohn Dakṣa mich so befragte, lächelte ich und sprach Worte, die jenen Prajāpati erfreuten.
