नन्दाव्रत-समाप्तिः तथा शङ्करस्य प्रत्यक्ष-दर्शनम्

ब्रह्मोवाच । यदात्थ भगवञ्शम्भो तद्विचार्य सुनिश्चितम् । देवानां मुख्यस्स्वार्थो हि ममापि वृषभध्वज

brahmovāca | yadāttha bhagavañśambho tadvicārya suniścitam | devānāṃ mukhyassvārtho hi mamāpi vṛṣabhadhvaja

Brahmā sprach: „O gesegneter Śambhu, ich habe über Deine Worte wohl nachgesonnen und bin zu fester Gewissheit gelangt. Wahrlich, das höchste Wohl der Götter—und auch das meine, o Herr, dessen Banner den Stier trägt (Vṛṣabhadhvaja)—liegt darin.“
