Completion of the Nandā-vrata and Śiva’s Direct Appearance
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Īśāna
Shakti Form: Satī
Role: nurturing
The verse highlights Śiva as Pati (the Supreme Lord) whose śāsana (divine ordinance) guides events; even worldly authorities like Dakṣa are ultimately aligned to the Lord’s will, indicating that dharma is fulfilled when actions harmonize with Śiva’s intention.
Here Śiva acts in a personal (saguṇa) mode—issuing commands and shaping the sacred narrative of Sati—showing that devotion to Śiva includes trusting His providence, which later matures into steadiness in Linga-worship and bhakti.
The practical takeaway is śiva-ājñā-anusandhāna—training the mind to act in alignment with Śiva’s will—supported by japa of the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” as a daily discipline for clarity and devotion.
