तच्चिंतायां यदा सक्तो ब्रह्मन् गच्छामि भाविनीम् । तत्र या विघ्नजननी न भवित्री हतास्तु मे
tacciṃtāyāṃ yadā sakto brahman gacchāmi bhāvinīm | tatra yā vighnajananī na bhavitrī hatāstu me
O Brahmā, sooft ich in jene Betrachtung versinke und zu meiner Geliebten (Satī) gehe—möge diejenige, die dort Hindernisse gebären würde, niemals entstehen; möge sie um meinetwillen vernichtet sein.
