Shiva Purana — Rudra Samhita, Shloka 7

सतीचरिते पितृगृहे आशीर्वाद-वचनम् तथा यौवनारम्भः — Satī at her father’s house: blessings and the onset of youth

दक्षोभवच्च सुप्रीतः तदाकर्ण्य गतज्वरः । आददे तनयां स्वां तां मत्वा हि परमेश्वरीम्

dakṣobhavacca suprītaḥ tadākarṇya gatajvaraḥ | ādade tanayāṃ svāṃ tāṃ matvā hi parameśvarīm

Als Dakṣa dies hörte, wurde er überaus erfreut, und seine Erregung verging. Da er seine eigene Tochter als die höchste Göttin, Parameśvarī, erkannte, nahm er sie gemäß der ihr bestimmten heiligen Verbindung an.
