Cosmic Event: divine marriage arrangement (Śiva-Śakti yojanā)
It highlights that Śiva is moved only by His own Śakti; the Lord’s “delusion” here is divine līlā, showing that grace and union (Pati–Śakti) are the means by which the cosmic purpose unfolds.
As Saguna Śiva (Hara) responds to devotion through His Śakti, the verse supports devotional worship—such as Liṅga-pūjā—where the devotee approaches Śiva with reverence, seeking His accessible, gracious form.
A practical takeaway is Śiva-bhakti supported by mantra-japa—especially the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—performed with purity and single-pointed intent, contemplating the inseparability of Śiva and Śakti.
