दक्षस्य तपः तथा जगदम्बायाः प्रत्यक्षता — Dakṣa’s Austerities and the Direct Manifestation of Jagadambā

ततः प्रत्यक्षतो दृष्ट्वा जगदम्बां जगन्मयीम् । कृतकृत्यमथात्मानं मेने दक्षः प्रजापतिः

tataḥ pratyakṣato dṛṣṭvā jagadambāṃ jaganmayīm | kṛtakṛtyamathātmānaṃ mene dakṣaḥ prajāpatiḥ

Dann, als er mit eigenen Augen die Mutter des Universums schaute—die das ganze All durchdringt—hielt Prajāpati Dakṣa sich für erfüllt und meinte, der Zweck seines Lebens sei vollbracht.
