Hymn to Devī Yogānidrā and the Manifestation of Caṇḍikā
Satī (addressing Śiva / speaking about Śiva’s responsiveness to her devotion)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Umāpati
Shakti Form: Satī
Role: liberating
It teaches that sincere bhakti has transformative power: even the supreme Lord (Hara) becomes tenderly responsive to the devotee’s love, showing the Shaiva ideal that grace (anugraha) is drawn by devotion.
It supports Saguna-upāsanā: when Śiva is worshipped with personal devotion (as the accessible Lord who responds), the devotee experiences his nearness and grace—commonly approached through Linga worship with heartfelt bhakti.
Cultivate bhakti through daily japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with simple Linga-pūjā, offering water and bilva leaves while praying for Śiva’s anugraha.
