Viṣṇu’s Manifestation and Brahmā’s Hymn

Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Dakṣiṇāmūrti
Role: teaching
It highlights Śiva’s anugraha (grace): sincere remembrance of the Lord results in jñāna, showing that liberation-oriented knowledge arises through devotion supported by Śiva’s compassion.
The verse emphasizes personal remembrance of Śiva as one’s Lord (sva-prabhu), aligning with Saguna upāsanā—worship of Śiva in a relatable form (including the Liṅga) that invites grace and inner awakening.
Śiva-smaraṇa (remembrance/meditation) is central—practically expressed through japa of “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” steady dhyāna on Śiva or the Liṅga, and a prayerful attitude seeking Śiva’s kr̥pā for right understanding.
