Offering: pushpa
The verse presents the Goddess as Śivā and Mahāmāyā—Śiva’s own power—showing that devotion (stuti) to the Divine Mother is a direct approach to Śiva’s grace, since Śakti is the manifesting and guiding power that can both veil and reveal liberation.
By calling her Śivakāminī and Śivalokanivāsinī, the text emphasizes inseparability of Śiva and Śakti in Saguna worship: Linga-pūjā and Śiva-bhakti are fulfilled when accompanied by reverence to the Goddess as the Lord’s dynamic, compassionate presence.
A simple practice is stotra-japa: recite her names—Śivā, Ambā, Kālī, Mahāmāyā—with devotion before or after Linga-pūjā, mentally offering the results to Śiva-Śakti; this aligns bhakti with inner recollection (smaraṇa) of the Divine Couple.
