पार्वत्याः यात्रासंस्कारः तथा पातिव्रत्योपदेशः / Preparations for Girijā’s Auspicious Journey and the Teaching on Pātivratya
पातिव्रत्यप्रभावेणात्रिस्त्रिया त्रिसुरार्थनात् । जीवितो विप्र एको हि मृतो वाराहशापतः
pātivratyaprabhāveṇātristriyā trisurārthanāt | jīvito vipra eko hi mṛto vārāhaśāpataḥ

Though the verse mentions the three gods, the Parvati-khanda context underscores that grace operates through saguna forms and their compassionate response to sincere supplication—an approach consistent with Linga worship where the devotee seeks Shiva’s saving anugraha.
The takeaway is sincere prayer and vow-based purity (vrata) offered with devotion; as a Shaiva practice, one may pair this with japa of the Panchakshara mantra (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and simple vrata observance, especially on Mahāśivarātri.
