या पितृभ्रातृसुतवत् परम्पश्यति सद्धिया । मध्यमा सा हि कथिता शैलजे वै पतिव्रता

Transliteration

yā pitṛbhrātṛsutavat parampaśyati saddhiyā | madhyamā sā hi kathitā śailaje vai pativratā

Translation

O Tochter des Berges! Jene hingebungsvolle Gattin, die mit reinem, unterscheidendem Verstand andere Männer wie Vater, Bruder oder Sohn betrachtet, wird wahrlich als pativratā mittleren Grades (madhyamā) verkündet.
