अध्याय ४९ — विवाहानुष्ठाने ब्रह्मणः काममोहः

Brahmā’s Enchantment by Desire during the Wedding Rites

अथाकर्ण्य नुतिं शुद्धां मम दीनतया तदा । विष्ण्वादीनाञ्च सर्वेषां प्रसन्नोऽभून्महेश्वरः

athākarṇya nutiṃ śuddhāṃ mama dīnatayā tadā | viṣṇvādīnāñca sarveṣāṃ prasanno'bhūnmaheśvaraḥ

Dann, als Maheśvara (Śiva) jenen reinen Lobgesang vernahm—dargebracht von mir in Demut und ebenso von allen Göttern, beginnend mit Viṣṇu—wurde er gnädig und wohlgefällig gestimmt.
