The verse highlights that devotion is strengthened when worship is aligned with dharmic order—knowing and proclaiming the proper tithi and sacred timing supports disciplined bhakti and brings inner contentment.
In Saguna Shiva worship, observances like vrata, abhisheka, and festival rites are traditionally performed at prescribed times; announcing the tithi and related details ensures the Linga-worship is done in the intended sacred rhythm.
It suggests careful observance of tithi-based vows (vratas) and scheduling Shiva-puja accordingly—especially for fasts and night vigils—supported by mantra-japa such as the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya).
