It presents the Divine Mother as Jagadādyā and Jagatprasū—Shakti as the cosmic source—showing that humble surrender with bhakti aligns the devotee’s will and brings grace, which in Shaiva Siddhanta supports purification and the soul’s movement toward Shiva’s liberating presence.
In the Shiva Purana, Saguna worship embraces Shiva along with Shakti; honoring the Goddess as the world-mother complements Linga worship by acknowledging Shiva as Pati (Lord) and Shakti as the manifest power through which grace and worldly order operate.
The verse emphasizes śirasā praṇāma (bowing with reverence) and bhakti; as a practical takeaway, devotees may perform daily namaskāra before Shiva-Parvati, chant the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), and offer simple worship with bhāva (devotional intent).
