It highlights that service and celebration of Lord Śiva (Śaṅkara) draw even the countless mighty Gaṇas into joyful participation—teaching that bhakti expressed as उत्साह (devotional zeal) is itself a sacred offering that aligns the soul (paśu) toward the Lord (Pati).
A “festival of Śaṅkara” implies communal, visible devotion to Saguna Śiva—worship expressed through praise, procession, and offerings that typically center on Śiva’s presence as the Liṅga and as the Lord attended by His Gaṇas.
The takeaway is to approach Śiva-pūjā with joyful steadiness: perform Liṅga-archana while repeating the Pañcākṣarī mantra (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with उत्साह; optionally wear rudrākṣa and apply tripuṇḍra (bhasma) as marks of Shaiva commitment.
