देवसान्त्वनम् (Devasāntvana) — “Consolation/Reassurance of the Gods”
Weil Sie sich stets von allem abwendet, was nicht das Höchste ist, beschreibt selbst die Śruti Sie als immerdar in Staunen; was ist dann erst von anderen Wesen zu sagen—was könnten sie wahrhaft begreifen?
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: teaching
It teaches that Shiva-tattva is beyond ordinary cognition; even the Vedas gesture toward the Supreme with reverent wonder, so the seeker should approach with humility, devotion, and inner purification.
Since the Absolute is difficult to grasp conceptually, the Purana supports Saguna upasana—such as Linga worship—as a compassionate, accessible focus through which devotion matures toward realization of Shiva beyond form.
Adopt steady japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namah Shivaya) with a contemplative attitude of awe and surrender; support it with simple Shaiva observances like Tripundra (bhasma) and daily Shiva-puja where appropriate.
