Transliteration

athāsau bhikṣuvaryyo hi tasmāttasyāśca sūtikṛt | bhikṣāṃ yayāce durgāntāṃ nānyajjagrāha kiñcana

Translation

Dann bat jener erhabenste Bettelmönch—der für sie den Ritus der Niederkunft vollzogen hatte—die Göttin Durgā selbst um Almosen; und er nahm sonst nichts an, überhaupt nichts.
