सत्यप्रतिज्ञा-तपःसंवादः

Pārvatī’s Vow of Truth and the Dialogue on Her Tapas

द्विज उवाच । यदि श्रोतुमना देवि मां स्थापयसि भक्तितः । वदामि तत्त्वं तत्सर्वं येन ते वयुनम्भवेत्

dvija uvāca | yadi śrotumanā devi māṃ sthāpayasi bhaktitaḥ | vadāmi tattvaṃ tatsarvaṃ yena te vayunambhavet

Der Brāhmaṇa sprach: „O Göttin, wenn du mich, mit hörbegierigem Sinn, aus Hingabe in deiner Gegenwart verweilen lässt, dann werde ich dir die ganze Wahrheit verkünden, durch die in dir rechte Erkenntnis und Unterscheidung erwachen.“
