गिरिजाया तपोऽनुज्ञा
Permission for Girijā’s Austerities
ब्रह्मोवाच । इत्येवं वचनं पित्रा प्रोक्तं श्रुत्वा तु ते तदा । जग्मतुर्मातरं सख्यौ तदाज्ञप्ते तया सह
brahmovāca | ityevaṃ vacanaṃ pitrā proktaṃ śrutvā tu te tadā | jagmaturmātaraṃ sakhyau tadājñapte tayā saha
Brahmā sprach: „Als sie damals die so von ihrem Vater gesprochenen Worte vernommen hatten, gingen die beiden Freunde zu ihrer Mutter; und zusammen mit ihr, die ihnen Anweisung gab, handelten sie dementsprechend.“
