कामदाहोत्तरवृत्तान्तः / Aftermath of Kāma’s Burning
Pārvatī’s Fear and Himavān’s Consolation
त्वं चापि शंकरं शम्भुं न त्यक्ष्यसि कदाचन । नान्यं पतिं हठाद्देवि ग्रहीष्यसि शिवादृते
tvaṃ cāpi śaṃkaraṃ śambhuṃ na tyakṣyasi kadācana | nānyaṃ patiṃ haṭhāddevi grahīṣyasi śivādṛte
Auch du wirst Śaṅkara, Śambhu, niemals zu irgendeiner Zeit verlassen. O Göttin, außer Śiva wirst du keinen anderen Gatten annehmen, selbst wenn man dich mit Gewalt dazu drängen sollte.
