विष्णोरंशस्य शैलस्य हिमाधारस्य कामिनी । ज्येष्ठा भवतु तत्कन्या भविष्यत्येव पार्वती
viṣṇoraṃśasya śailasya himādhārasya kāminī | jyeṣṭhā bhavatu tatkanyā bhaviṣyatyeva pārvatī
Die geliebte Gemahlin Himādharas (des Himalaya) — jenes Berges, der ein Anteil Viṣṇus ist — wird eine erstgeborene Tochter haben; wahrlich, eben dieses Mädchen wird als Pārvatī geboren werden.
