O Devas, diese Erzählung darf nicht vor jedermann vorgetragen werden. Geht nun in eure sichere Wohnstatt; ich werde dieses Leid von allen Seiten völlig beseitigen.
Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Rudra
Significance: Emphasizes Śiva as the sole refuge who removes duḥkha by His anugraha; supports the pilgrim’s trust (śaraṇāgati) in the Lord’s saving agency.
The verse highlights Shiva as Pati (the Supreme Lord) who both protects sacred knowledge from misuse and actively removes duḥkha; grace (anugraha) operates with discernment and right context.
It reflects Saguna Shiva’s compassionate, protective agency—Shiva intervenes to destroy suffering—mirroring how devotees approach the Linga as the accessible form through which Shiva grants protection and peace.
Practice disciplined speech and secrecy regarding sacred experiences, and seek Shiva’s removal of duḥkha through japa of the Panchakshara (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with a refuge-taking (śaraṇāgati) attitude.
