वराङ्ग्याः सुतजन्म-उत्पातवर्णनम् | Birth of Varāṅgī’s Son and the Description of Portents

समुद्राश्च तथा रत्नान्यदुस्तस्मै भयान्मुने । अकृष्टपच्यासीत्पृथ्वी प्रजाः कामदुघाः खिलाः

samudrāśca tathā ratnānyadustasmai bhayānmune | akṛṣṭapacyāsītpṛthvī prajāḥ kāmadughāḥ khilāḥ

O Weiser, aus Furcht boten sich ihm die Ozeane und auch die kostbaren Juwelen dar. Die Erde brachte Nahrung hervor, ohne gepflügt zu werden, und alle Wesen überall wurden gleichsam wunscherfüllend und gewährten, was begehrt wurde.
