Himagiri Presents Kālī (Pārvatī) to Śiva
Parvati
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Umāpati
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: nurturing
The verse highlights bhakti as nitya-sevā—steady, humble attendance upon Śaṅkara—sustained by anugraha (divine grace). In Shaiva Siddhanta terms, the soul’s approach to Pati (Shiva) matures through service, surrender, and the Lord’s compassionate consent.
It reflects Saguna-upāsanā: devotion to Shiva as the personal Lord who can be approached, served, and petitioned. The same attitude is applied in Linga worship—daily tending, offering, and reverent attendance—seeing the Linga as Śaṅkara’s accessible presence.
The takeaway is regularity in devotion: perform daily Shiva-pūjā (or Linga-archana) with a service-mind, accompanied by japa of the Panchākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), optionally with rudrākṣa and tripuṇḍra as supports to disciplined, grace-oriented bhakti.
