अद्य मे सफलं जन्म सफलं जीवनं मम । अद्य मे सफलं सर्वं यदत्र त्वं समागतः
adya me saphalaṃ janma saphalaṃ jīvanaṃ mama | adya me saphalaṃ sarvaṃ yadatra tvaṃ samāgataḥ
Heute ist meine Geburt erfüllt; mein ganzes Leben ist fruchtbar geworden. Heute ist alles, was mir gehört, vollendet, weil Du hierher gekommen bist.

The verse teaches that life becomes truly “successful” (saphala) when one receives Shiva’s grace through direct presence or realized nearness—bhakti culminating in darśana, which purifies the bound soul (paśu) and turns worldly existence toward liberation.
It reflects the Shaiva emphasis that Saguna Shiva—approached through form, name, and presence (including the Śiva-liṅga as a worshipful embodiment)—bestows immediate spiritual fulfillment; the devotee experiences completeness when the Lord is “here,” i.e., present to worship and awareness.
Cultivate darśana-bhāva daily: worship Shiva with pañcopacāra or liṅga-pūjā, repeat the Panchakshara mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” and maintain steady remembrance so that the mind becomes a fit abode for Shiva’s presence.
