तारकवाक्य-शक्रविष्णुवीरभद्रयुद्धवर्णनम् — Account of Tāraka’s declarations and the battle involving Śakra (Indra), Viṣṇu, and Vīrabhadra
विष्णुना न हि वध्योऽसौ तारको बलवानति । मया दत्तवरस्तस्मात्सत्यं सत्यं वदाम्यहम्
viṣṇunā na hi vadhyo'sau tārako balavānati | mayā dattavarastasmātsatyaṃ satyaṃ vadāmyaham
Der mächtige Tāraka kann von Viṣṇu nicht getötet werden, denn er ist überaus stark. Da ich ihm einen Segen gewährt habe, erkläre ich—wahrlich, wahrlich—so ist es.
