युद्धप्रारम्भवर्णनम् — Description of the Commencement of Battle
गर्जमानास्तदा दैत्यास्तारकेणसुरेण ह । कंपयन्तो भुवं पादक्रमैर्वल्गुनकारकाः
garjamānāstadā daityāstārakeṇasureṇa ha | kaṃpayanto bhuvaṃ pādakramairvalgunakārakāḥ
Da brüllten die Daityas laut unter der Führung des Asura Tāraka und begannen, mit dem Stampfen ihrer Schritte die Erde zu erschüttern, sodass ringsum Aufruhr und Schrecken entstand.
