The verse presents Pārvatī as Śiva’s śakti who establishes maṅgala (auspicious order) in the outer world—symbolizing inner purification and readiness for dharma and devotion.
By highlighting sacred beautification and orderly preparation, it reflects the Saguna mode of worship—where devotees honor Śiva through tangible acts like decorating sacred spaces and preparing processional paths for divine presence.
A practical takeaway is maṅgala-kriyā: cleaning and adorning the worship area (mandira/pujā-sthāna), offering flowers and lamps, and mentally “adorning” the inner city of the heart before japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya).
