Shiva Form: Mahādeva
It highlights satya (truth) and śivājñā-pālana (fulfilling Shiva’s command) as core marks of dharma—devotion becomes real when one’s decisions and actions align with the Lord’s will.
In Saguna worship, Shiva is approached as the personal Lord who guides devotees; honoring His ājñā is itself an offering—like Linga-pūjā expressed through truthful conduct and disciplined action.
The practical takeaway is vrata-like discipline: maintain satya, act according to dharma, and support it with japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) as a daily resolve to follow Shiva’s guidance.
