Śiva-nāma-smaraṇa and Śambhu’s Protective Manifestation

शङ्कर उवाच । इति ब्रवीषि त्वं वै चेच्छृणु मद्वचनं प्रिये । स्थास्याम्यस्मिन्वने प्रीत्या भक्तानां पालनाय च
śaṅkara uvāca | iti bravīṣi tvaṃ vai cecchṛṇu madvacanaṃ priye | sthāsyāmyasminvane prītyā bhaktānāṃ pālanāya ca
Śaṅkara sprach: „Wenn du so sprichst, Geliebte, dann höre meine Worte. Aus freudiger Liebe werde ich in diesem Wald verweilen, und zwar zum Schutz und zur behütenden Obhut der Bhaktas.“
